Episode 14: Faithful - Psalm 9:11-12
What does God's faithfulness look like in real life? How can we know with certainty that the LORD will fulfill every promise He has ever made?
In Part 2 of our four-part study through Psalm 9, we focus on verses 11-12 and examine one of God's most important attributes: His faithfulness. David calls God's people to sing praises, declare His deeds among the nations, and remember that the LORD never forgets those who humbly seek Him.
This study explores the significance of Zion as a testimony to God's covenant faithfulness, highlighting how Israel's history serves as powerful evidence that God never abandons His promises. Though people fail, God remains steadfast. Though His people may be spiritually dry, the LORD continues to provide restoration, mercy, and life according to His Word.
Psalm 9 reminds us that God's people can confidently proclaim His goodness because He always does what He says. His promises are not dependent on human performance but on His unchanging character. The same God who preserved Israel, restored Zion, and fulfilled His covenant with David remains faithful today.
