The mission of Wellington’s Elementary Ministry is to continue developing disciples with a servant's heart, building upon the Nursery, Toddler and Preschool Ministries. Our objective is to teach biblical truths, showing the children their need for a Savior resulting in a life given to and dedicated to Christ and His work. It is our ultimate goal to come alongside parents in fulfilling their Biblical mandate to bring up their children in the training and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:1-4).

Sunday Mornings

9:30am-10:30am

Our Sunday School classes provide age-appropriate Bible lessons and learning activities that teach the character of God, the work of Christ, and the means of living in right relationship to Him. This is accomplished by presenting the whole council of God and demonstrating to children the unity, consistency, and sufficiency of the Scriptures for their lives.

10:30-11:45am

Junior Church is worship specifically designed for K-5th graders.  We sing, pray, and give our offering. Then we divide into graded classes for lessons and Bible study.  Our ministry team is equipped with a very faithful group of teachers who are dedicated to the Christian training and discipleship of the children. Nursery Care and Preschool classes are available during the service.

Nursery Care

Nursery care is available during our Sunday evening programming for children birth through 2 years old. Our nursery provides a safe, welcoming place for little ones to be cared for while parents participate in worship, Bible study, and fellowship. We’re grateful for the opportunity to come alongside parents and help our youngest children begin to know and love the church.

Preschool Choir

Our preschool choir (ages 3 through Kindergarten) will prepare for a special Christmas presentation, To Bethlehem!, a Bible story musical based on Luke 2. Through singing, Scripture, and an interactive experience, children will learn about the birth of Jesus and why His coming is such good news. Children will present the musical during our Christmas celebration on December 13.

Kids Choir

Children in 1st–5th grades will prepare for The Great Christmas Giveaway, a fun Christmas musical that teaches why Christ came as the greatest gift ever given. Through Scripture, singing, and storytelling, kids will discover that the gift goes on—as we share the good news of Jesus with others. The choir will present the musical during our Christmas celebration on December 13.
