Episode 10: The Glory Of God - Psalm 8:1-2

In this episode of Refuge & Strength, previously known as Getting To Know God, we begin our study through Psalm 8 by exploring one of the most overwhelming attributes of God: His glory. David opens this psalm in awe of the LORD's majesty, power, and beauty, recognizing that God’s glory extends beyond the heavens and surpasses all human understanding.

But Psalm 8 doesn’t just reveal the greatness of God’s glory — it shows HOW God chooses to display it. Throughout scripture, God consistently demonstrates His strength through weakness, His wisdom through humility, and His power through servants who completely depend on Him by faith.

Psalm 8 reminds us that God’s glory is not expressed the way the world expects. The LORD exalts humility, empowers the weak, and silences pride through those who trust Him like children. If we want to recognize God’s hand in our lives and understand His purpose for us, we need to learn how He reveals His glory according to Scripture.
