In this episode of Refuge & Strength, previously known as Getting To Know God, Pastor b.Side continues the study through Psalm 7 with a message titled, “How To Respond To God’s Judgments.” Looking at Psalm 7:6-9, this teaching explores God's righteous justice, the seriousness of sin, and the proper response believers should have to the LORD's coming judgments.

David’s prayer in Psalm 7 reveals the balance between desiring that God’s righteousness prevail and still having compassion for those who stand opposed to Him. This study explains why God’s judgments are necessary to remove corruption, establish righteousness, and fulfill His promises for His people. It also shows how David trusted God’s justice, not out of personal vengeance or bitterness, but because he desired the glory of God and the fulfillment of His eternal purposes.

This study provides a powerful reminder that God’s judgments are not random or cruel, but perfectly righteous, holy, and necessary to establish His eternal kingdom in purity. At the same time, believers are challenged to respond with humility, compassion, and urgency to share the hope of salvation through Jesus Christ.

If you’re looking to better understand the character of God, the purpose of His judgments, and how to maintain a biblical perspective in a corrupt world, this episode will encourage and challenge you through the truth of Scripture.
