Episode 41: The Name Of God - Part 3 - Psalm 20:7-9
Episode 41 – The Name of God Part 3 – Psalm 20:7-9
🔥 WHAT ARE YOU REALLY TRUSTING TO SAVE YOU?
Your money?
Your career?
Your relationships?
Your government?
Your strength?
Your technology?
Your own ability to figure everything out?
Psalm 20 asks a much bigger question:
Are you trusting in “chariots and horses”… or are you remembering the NAME OF THE LORD?
Because here’s the problem:
We often use temporary, physical things to chase eternal, spiritual results.
We want peace from possessions.
Security from circumstances.
Purpose from success.
Salvation from human strength.
But if everything reproduces according to its own kind…
How can temporary things produce eternal results?
Psalm 20:7–9 draws a line in the sand:
“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.”
🔥 The world says: TRUST WHAT YOU CAN SEE.
✝️ The Bible says: TRUST WHO GOD IS.
And “the name of the LORD” isn’t merely a title.
It points to His identity, His character, His nature, His power, and His promises.
He is YAHWEH—the eternally self-existing Creator.
He is Elohim—the majestic God revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
And His ultimate answer to our need for salvation is Jesus Christ—the King.
This episode explores why true prosperity isn’t ultimately about having more stuff, why worldly security can never satisfy the soul, and why the salvation God promises is infinitely greater than simply making our circumstances easier.
Because one day, everything temporary will pass away.
So what will you be standing on when it does?
