Episode 16: Reaping What Is Sown - Psalm 9:15-20

Jun 5, 2026    Brandon Alvillar

In this final installment of our four-part study through Psalm 9, we examine one of the most sobering and important attributes of God: His righteous judgment. Looking closely at Psalm 9:15-20, we discover how God's justice reveals His holiness, faithfulness, and unwavering commitment to His promises.

King David rejoiced not in the destruction of the wicked, but in the certainty of God's righteousness. Through this passage, we see that people ultimately reap what they sow, and that God's judgments are always fair, holy, and rooted in truth. We also explore how the Gospel of Jesus Christ demonstrates that God's greatest blessings come through His judgment against sin, fulfilled through the sacrifice of Christ on the cross.

Though God's people may suffer for a season, Psalm 9 reminds us that God never forgets His own. His promises are sure, His timing is perfect, and one day He will remove every obstacle that hinders the pure worship He deserves.

Join Pastor b.Side as we conclude our study of Psalm 9 and learn how God's righteous judgments ultimately serve His glorious purposes for His people and His kingdom.
